The thing is, you never know who your soulmate is. It can be a person you already know, someone you have yet to meet, someone in your class, staring right in front of you. Sometimes, your soulmate is in a different city dreaming of you as you dream of them, and wondering where you are. A romantic notion, but they can also be married or dating someone else, or dying on the inside because they love someone who doesn’t love them back. Sometimes all it takes is one serendipitous moment to change the course of your footsteps, and the most brilliant part is, there are 7 billion people on this planet, and it’s just amazing to remind yourself that you just never know who you could fall in love with, and who you can share a life with. I like to be optimistic about love, even when I’m at my most bitter low because there’s something magical in the spark of fire that is kindled in two people that were once strangers.
I hope one day if ever I’d have to face you, I’d be able to smile that million dollar smile, say “I’m fine” and really mean it.
usually I think lists like this are insulting and dumb,
but I actually think this one is pretty lovely.
and #24 made me feel like crying.
